Kickstarter is a great place for innovative ideas, and Nebia is one most of California could get behind (think water crisis). In fact, it’s so impressive Apple’s own CEO, Tim Cook, has invested in the project.
Nebia is a simply a showerhead. A beautiful one. It’s supposed to save its users 70% more water than traditional showerheads, and it can be installed at home with a simple bracket. So what’s new? This fancy product has been engineered to atomize water into millions of droplets with more surface area than your current average shower experience. And with its $399 (less for backers) price tag and May 2016 delivery date, this investment is not for the faint of heart. Nevertheless, Nebia says the product pays for itself within two years (especially if you love a luxurious showering experience). At press time, the Kickstarter project page had surpassed its $100,000 goal by $442,903 with more than 1,600 backers and 30 days to go.
Curious on the science of it all? Check out Nebia’s full Kickstarter video pitch. Would you pay $400 for a more efficient and pleasurable shower experience? Feasibly, we think you could spend less than $100 to find a luxurious and water-conscious shower head already. Let us know what you think below.
