Imagine a world beyond Google’s Project Glass, where everything you see in front of you has a blip of extra information attached to guide you through life, along with incentives. What if you could use this “Sight” technology to turn your life into a game (Something that resembles what Sims creator Will Wright talked about in Wired this month.)? Can you imagine scoring points while base jumping, online dating or chopping up vegetables? Who knew Fruit Ninja had such practical uses, or “The Game,” for that matter?
Well, Daniel Lazo and Eran May-raz’s short film “Sight” illustrates those exact possibilities in a reality where contacts turn your eyes into virtual gaming. The dating bit is actually pretty creepy, but tongue-in-cheek never stopped us before. Check it out for yourself below.
